You may be aware that the Knowle West Alliance secured CIL (Community Infrastructure Levy) funding to buy toys for public use to be kept in Filwood library a few years ago after this was suggested by local residents during CIL consultation. Due to Covid and the library closure, they’ve been in storage for a long time, but are now available to play with.

The Knowle West Alliance are launching an event with the library on 27th June from 2 – 4pm (drop-in) and would love families to come along. The toys are aimed at ages up to 12 and include educational toys and toys for children with additional needs. At the event, there will also be free refreshments, the chance to take part in a craft activity and a competition.
